FAUSTMAN RANCH

Faustman Ranch is a family oriented western riding center and horse ranch located on RT 4, just outside Dayton, Ohio. The twenty-two acre facility sits on the west slope of the Mad River valley, approximately one mile north of Huffman Dam. I 70 is 3.5 miles to the north and I 75 is 7.5 miles to the west.

The facility includes a recently built eight stall barn, concession stand, large picnic/party shelter, 150 x 250 lighted outdoor dirt arena, round pens and storage buildings. Large lush pastures and trails provide ample riding opportunity.

The ranch was built to provide a place where friends and family could enjoy equine related activities and a unique western lifestyle. We are principally a western riding facility, but welcome all disciplines. Primarily we cater to Paints and American Quarter Horse. However, we love and welcome them all.

We encourage and support both young and adult riders. Inexperienced, shy and intimidated riders are our focus. Our shows, fun days, clinics and other events are typically for entry and intermediate level riders. We strive to provide a place where less experienced riders can feel comfortable trying new things without pressure or intimidation. We pride ourselves in having the only one minute barrel race in town. Many of our participants are new enough that it may take that long to get around. That’s OK. That’s what we’re here for.
